I almost forgot that country music existed until I listened to a couple songs on this exceptionally cool, rainy night in the lovely yet infernally hot city of León. It's so hot that right now it's 85 degrees and rainy. I just went swimming outside in a pool with water that was warmer than the air, and now I want a hot chocolate.
Country music and this rain reminds me of one of the two radio stations in my home town (100.3) that I'd listen to while I had the privilege of driving my Subaru wherever I pleased, especially through those rare, rainy Moses Lake sunsets.
Now I've traded in my car keys for Monopoly money that I use to pay for those bumpy, twisting, windows-down chicken bus rides through Nicaragua ;)
